Endorsed Child Care Candidates

Below you will find VCCF's slate of endorsed child care candidates running for the Vermont Legislature in the 2024 Vermont primary election. These 107 incumbents have demonstrated their commitment to solving the state’s child care crisis by voting to override the Governor’s veto of the 2023 Child Care Bill, thereby passing it into law as Act 76. We are confident these candidates will continue to take action to transform Vermont’s child care system to ensure:

1. High-quality child care is equitably accessible to all Vermont families when and where they need it;
2. No family spends more than 10% of their income on child care; and
3. Early childhood educators are fairly compensated.
